Our sizes are comparable with a pair of Clarks shoes. 

With the exception of the Hampton and Brooklyn brogues, if you currently wear one of the traditional English handmade shoe brands such as Barker, Loakes or Grenson, please order half a size larger for the eqivalent size. If you take size 9½ Barker or Samuel Windsor - order a size 10 from us.

If you're buying our 'big and bold' Hampton or Brooklyn brouges they are a generous fit so we suggest a half size smaller than our other ranges - or the same size a Barker, Loake or Samuel Windsor.

WIDTH FITTING

Our shoes are available in one width fitting - which is very generous. Most customers that take up to a G fitting will have no problems wearing our shoes.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

You can place your order using the online facility at our website or by calling our sales hotline number on 0800 019 6965. We are happy to talk to customers about the technical aspects and sizing of our products.

Payment can be made using major credit and debit cards. If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order they should be made payable to: Best-For Ltd and sent to our offices at 6 Polestar Way, Weston-Super-Mare, BS24 7BT. Goods paid for by cheque will be dispatched 7 days after receipt of your cheque.

Arrangements can be made for us to accept cash payments - please call us for further details.

On receipt of your order, we will contact you to confirm availability and delivery details - usually by e-mail.
Shipping And Handling
A single delivery charge of £4.99 will be added to your order. A next day service is available for £6.99.

Your order will most likely be shipped by a carrier of our choice usually UK Mail, DPD or Royal Mail. Customers will be notified of the carrier when we send your 'Order Shipped' email. Single pairs of shoe trees are more likely to be shipped via Royal Mail. We cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur in transit. Tracking information will be provided.

Addresses in Northern Island and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland can only be services by 2-4 day carrier likely to be CollectPlus or Hermes.

We only delivery to mainland UK and NI addresses. We do not ship to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Sclly Isles.
Back Orders Every effort is made to ensure items on the website are available for immediate delivery. Occasionally, some items may be temporarily out of stock and if so, we will contact you immediately. Sizes available for immediate delivery are in the drop-down menu for each product.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK prices on our site include 20.0% VAT.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Our card processing partners are WorldPay and Paypal.

Should you purchase your shoes via our website, our order system will 'pre-authorise' your card. You will only be charged when your order is shipped.

Our system does not allow us full visibiilty of card data - so we are unable to re-charge your card without additional information that we can only get from you.

Your Card Transaction

The address provided for the invoice address should match the card statement address. If this is not the case your order will be delayed.

We use a fraud screening service to evaluate our online transactions where card data is checked to the card holders statement address. Failure to provide the correct invoice address will delay your order and you will be asked to provide the correct information so that we may properly progress your order.

We will email you and ask you to contact us. If you do not contact us your order will be left pending until we are able to contact you. We may need to process a second order with the correct card data - you will only be charged once the transaciton has passed our fraud checks.

Credit and debit card payments are processed using secure websites with the highest level of encryption. We use the Universal Payment Gateway (UPG) through our partners at Secure Hosting. Secure Hosting provide our Payment Gateway and Bank of Scotland provide our merchant services. This means your details are secure and will not be disclosed to third parties.
Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

If the shoe doesn't fit, and you require an exchange, please call us and we will arrange this at no cost to you.. The customer is responsible for the postage costs when returning items for refund.  Items returned within 14 days will have the costs of goods and a standard delivery charge refunded. Should items be returned without sufficient postage, we reserve the right to deduct any postage we have to pay to recover the item from the customer's refund.

If a refund or exchange is required, items should be returned to us in the original condition and packaging within 30 days of purchase. Exceptions can be made where a product has been purchased for a third party - please telephone us for further details.

Refunds will be issued within 10 days of us receiving the returned goods. We will refund the cost of the products purchased only - this does not include the delivery charge.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the returned goods are deemed to be damaged, used or tampered with in any way. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
